Arrive in Paris to be met at the airport by your tour director and luxury coach. Drive to Bayeux stopping en route to visit Monet’s House and Garden at Giverny. Dinner in the hotel.

2 July -BAYEUX

Visit the Bayeux Tapestry. Drive to La Haye du Puits for afternoon Liberation celebration & 6pm - 7pm Peace Concert.

3 July  D-DAY BEACHES

Day visiting the major sites from D-Day. (Omaha Beach and Cemetery, Pointe du Hoc and others as time permits.)

4 July  BAYEUX-LOIRE (3 nights)

Travel through the French countryside to the Loire Valley. Stop en route “La Merveille” - Mont St Michel - dinner in the hotel

Visit a chateau - Ambroise

Concert in the Courtyard

Guided tour of Chartres Cathedral with Malcolm Miller

Boat cruise on the Seine & visit to La Chapelle, medieval stained glass. 

Late afternoon, by Metro & funicular to visit Sacre Coeur & Montmatre. 

Evening free.

9 July  PARIS

Free day for your own explorations.

Early evening Arc de Triomphe ceremony.

Farewell dinner "Jardin de Notre Dame"

10 July DEPARTURE
